WHO WE ARE

Formed in 1993, TOTALL Metal Recycling, Inc. (TMR) established a toll processing plant for scrap wire granulation. The operation process mechanically separated copper from plastic insulation. Both materials were returned to the supplier for recycling.

In 2001, TMR expanded its commercial, freight, and operations departments to process and trade in a more diverse range of scrap materials. Sourcing began for all types of metals, non-ferrous and ferrous, in addition to electronic scrap and complex residues.

In 2011, TMR expanded operations with the acquisition of a 57-acre facility that provided an additional 450,000 square feet of warehouse space. The acquired facility more than tripled storage space and provides capacity to support continued growth through organic and/or strategic initiatives.

Today, TMR’s facilities include 78.1 acres of owned and leased property with 575,000 square feet of warehouse space, approximately 65 acres of outdoor storage and convenient truck access to I-55, I-64, I-70, I-255, and I-270. TMR can ship and receive product via truck, rail, and barge. Intermodal transport includes on premise rail spurs served by Norfolk Southern and barge access to the Mississippi River via third party marine terminal operators.

TMR purchases and recycles a wide range of source material, including electronics, demilitarized hardware, surplus commercial and industrial products, manufacturing waste, and industrial material. Base metals are recycled using proprietary processes and technology, which include shredders, mechanical processing equipment, and magnetic and eddy current separation lines.

The TMR team consists of over 130 valued associates that contribute throughout various departments, including, Commercial, Freight/Logistics/Equipment, Accounting and Administrative Support Services, Warehouse Operations, Plant Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, Shipping/Receiving, and Electronics Recycling.
